The LCD in the top panel came with the power supply. It allows variable control for the fans inside it and temperature monitoring on the display.
If you're wondering what the hell is in the 3.5" bays, that is actually two Playstation controller ports. I mounted two SmartJoy adapters into an acrylic plate, which is affixed to the front of the case with machine screws. They then get connected to one of the front panel USB port headers on the motherboard (by way of a FP USB dongle stolen from a now dead compaq).
